Wavdrop DJ Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-17
Wavdrop DJ ("the App") is a local-first iPhone application for organizing music files and exporting Pioneer-compatible USB libraries. This policy explains what data the App handles and what leaves your device.
Data we collect
None. Wavdrop DJ does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on remote servers. The App does not include analytics, telemetry, crash reporters, or third-party advertising SDKs.
Data the App reads from your device
- Audio files you select from the Files app or share into Wavdrop. These stay on your device.
- Track metadata (title, artist, BPM, key) extracted from the audio files you import. Stored only in the App's local storage.
- USB drives you connect through the Lightning or USB-C port. The App writes a Pioneer-formatted library only when you tap Export. No data is read from connected drives beyond what's needed to enumerate destinations.
Data the App transmits
None during normal operation. The App makes no network requests for its core flows (Import, Crates, Export). Future versions that introduce optional cloud sync will add a clear in-app opt-in and update this policy.
Third-party services
None. The App contains no third-party SDKs that send data off-device.
Children's privacy
The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any data from children or any users.
Your rights
Because the App does not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to delete, export, or correct on your behalf. To remove all App data, delete Wavdrop DJ from your device.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the App handles data, we will update this page and bump the App's version. Continued use of the App after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
