How Wavdrop works
Three tabs cover the full workflow:
- Import — Add tracks from Files, AirDrop, or shared libraries. Long-press a track to edit metadata.
- Crates — Group tracks into crates for a gig. Reorder by dragging, filter by BPM or key.
- Export — Plug in a USB drive, tap Export, and Wavdrop writes a Pioneer-formatted rekordbox library that CDJ-2000NXS2, CDJ-3000, and DJM-V10 controllers read directly.
Common questions
What CDJs are supported?
CDJ-2000NXS2, CDJ-3000, XDJ-RX3, XDJ-XZ, and any rekordbox-USB-compatible
player. The ANLZ chunks written include waveform, beat grid, cue points,
and color tags.
What audio formats are supported?
MP3, WAV, AIFF, and FLAC. The App preserves the original file format on
the exported USB.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Wavdrop is fully offline. No account, no cloud sync, no telemetry.
How do I get music into Wavdrop?
Use the Files app to share tracks into Wavdrop, or drag files from
Finder/iTunes via the Files-app integration on iOS.
